Package Unit Repair & Replacement in Simi Valley

When something fails on your package unit, you need a company that has seen it before. Package unit repair and replacement issues common to Simi Valley properties often start with subtle warning signs that escalate fast, especially during the inland heat that pushes rooftop equipment harder than coastal areas just miles away. Homes and buildings in Simi Valley rely on self-contained package units that sit on rooftops or ground-level pads, and when those systems break down, the whole structure loses heating and cooling at once.

Season Control HVAC has been in business since 2001, with over 25 years of HVAC service across Greater Los Angeles. That experience means we diagnose package unit failures accurately the first time, whether the problem is a compressor, a gas valve, airflow restriction, or electrical controls. We handle the full scope of package unit repair and rooftop unit replacement for residential and commercial properties throughout Simi Valley.

Simi Valley sits inland in Ventura County, separated from the coast by surrounding hills and valleys. That geography creates hotter summers and cooler winters compared to nearby coastal cities like Camarillo, which means package units here run under heavier demand for longer stretches. The housing stock in Simi Valley includes a wide range of single-story homes, townhomes, and commercial buildings where package units are a common HVAC configuration. Rooftop unit access can vary significantly depending on the building type, roof pitch, and equipment placement. Planning for package unit replacement in Simi Valley means accounting for crane or hoist access, structural load capacity, and ductwork compatibility. Our 25 years of solving these problems across Greater Los Angeles means we understand the access challenges and equipment considerations specific to this area. We serve Simi Valley along with nearby communities including Moorpark and Oak Park.

  • Complete package unit diagnosis covering electrical, refrigerant, airflow, and gas components
  • Rooftop unit repair for residential and commercial systems with safe access planning
  • Full package unit replacement including equipment selection, removal, and installation
  • Ductwork evaluation to confirm compatibility with new or repaired package units
  • Ongoing maintenance plans to extend the life of your package unit and prevent breakdowns

Package Unit Repair & Replacement in Simi Valley - FAQ

What should I expect during a package unit repair visit?

Our technician will inspect the full system on site, including electrical connections, refrigerant levels, blower operation, and gas components if applicable. We explain what we find before starting any work so you can make an informed decision about repair or replacement.

How do I know if my package unit needs replacement instead of repair?

Age, repair history, and the cost of the current failure all factor into that decision. If a major component like the compressor or heat exchanger has failed on an older unit, replacement often makes more financial sense. We walk you through the comparison so you can decide with clear information.

What is involved in replacing a rooftop package unit?

Replacement involves removing the existing unit, which may require a crane depending on the building. We verify structural support, match the new equipment to your ductwork and electrical setup, and handle the full installation. Access planning is a key part of the process for rooftop equipment in Simi Valley.

Do you offer maintenance for package units after installation?

Yes. Regular maintenance helps prevent unexpected failures and keeps your system running efficiently. We offer maintenance plans designed specifically for package units that cover seasonal inspections and component checks.

I cannot speak highly enough about my experience with Seasons Control. From the initial consultation to the final installation, the entire process was seamless and exceeded expectations. Tomar was truly exceptional. He took the time to carefully listen to all of my concerns and specific needs for both my daughter and me. His attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine care made all the difference. The installation crew, led by Pablo, delivered outstanding workmanship. Their communication was clear and timely throughout the entire project. I appreciated their integrity and commitment to doing the job right. They treated our home with care and respect, and the end result was high-quality work that we can trust. I highly recommend Seasons Control to anyone looking for a company that combines technical expertise with excellent customer service. Thank you, Tomar and Pablo, for making this such a positive and stress-free experience. Thank You!

Tomer was on time, and very quickly diagnosed our problem. We have an air conditioner that seemed to have a leak and he gave us all scenarios, and explained everything until we understood how it worked and what we could do in the event of anything else happening to it. I believe he saved us money thanks to his great communication. Now, we understand the unit that we currently have, and what all our options are. Tomer gave us a feeling of relief, because he's definetinely a pro at this. We will be using this company again after our experience with Season Control Hesting & Air Conditioner. Like Tomer said "Now YOU control the air, not the AIR controlling you!" Lol!! Thanks again Tomer!

I have recently replaced an almost 30-year-old HVAC with this servicer through multiple quotations. I am so glad to make the right call. Its quotation is very competitive and the technician(Eric) is well-experienced and knowledgeable in walking me through the whole process in detail. Upon installation is complete, they did thorough testing to check if everything went well; and called me a few days later to follow up with the performance of the unit. I could not be happier with this smooth transaction.
