Furnace Installation & Repair in Westlake Village

When something fails, you need a company that has seen it before. Furnace problems in Westlake Village tend to surface during winter peak demand, right when you rely on your system most. A furnace that short cycles, blows cold air, or refuses to ignite is more than an inconvenience. It can affect safety and comfort across properties in Westlake Village and the surrounding San Fernando Valley. Season Control HVAC has been in business since 2001, with over 25 years of HVAC service across Greater Los Angeles.

That depth of experience means faster, more accurate diagnosis whether the issue is a failed furnace blower motor capacitor, a faulty ignition system, or a heat exchanger showing signs of age. We handle gas furnace repair, electric furnace repair, full furnace replacement, and new furnace installation. If you are planning your next step, whether repair or replacement, we can walk you through your options honestly.

Westlake Village sits at the western edge of the San Fernando Valley, where homes range from older ranch-style builds to newer custom construction. That mix of housing stock means furnace systems vary widely in age, configuration, and condition. Older gas furnaces may rely on standing pilot lights that homeowners need to check and maintain, while newer units use electronic ignition and variable-speed blower motors with components like the furnace capacitor that wear over time. The Valley's mild climate can lead homeowners to overlook annual furnace maintenance until a cold snap hits and the system struggles to keep up. Season Control HVAC understands these patterns across properties in Westlake Village and neighboring communities like Agoura Hills, Calabasas, and Burbank. With 25 years of solving these problems in Greater Los Angeles, we bring local knowledge to every furnace diagnosis and service call in this area.

  • Furnace diagnosis and repair, including gas furnace repair and electric furnace repair, with accurate identification of failed components like capacitors, igniters, and blower motors
  • Furnace installation and replacement, with guidance on sizing and system selection suited to your home
  • Furnace tune-up and annual furnace maintenance to catch problems before they cause a breakdown during winter
  • Maintenance of gas furnace safety components, including heat exchanger inspection and pilot light evaluation
  • Furnace blower motor capacitor replacement and other targeted part repairs to extend system life

Furnace Installation & Repair in Westlake Village - FAQ

How do I know if my furnace needs repair or full replacement?

Age, repair frequency, and safety are the main factors. If your furnace is over 15 years old and requiring repeated repairs, replacement often makes more sense long term. A cracked heat exchanger or persistent ignition failure can also signal that replacement is the safer and more cost-effective path. We provide a straightforward diagnosis so you can make an informed decision.

How often should I schedule furnace maintenance?

Yearly furnace maintenance is recommended, ideally before winter starts. An annual tune-up includes checking the burner assembly, testing safety controls, inspecting the heat exchanger, and verifying that components like the blower motor capacitor are functioning properly. Regular maintenance helps prevent unexpected breakdowns and supports safe operation.

What are signs my furnace capacitor or blower motor needs attention?

If the blower motor hesitates to start, makes humming noises without spinning, or the furnace shuts off before reaching the set temperature, the furnace blower motor capacitor may be failing. These components degrade with use and are a common repair item. A technician can test the capacitor and replace it if needed.

Is it safe to check my furnace pilot light myself?

You can visually check whether a standing pilot light is lit by following the manufacturer instructions on your furnace. However, if you smell gas, see soot buildup, or the pilot will not stay lit after relighting, turn off the gas supply and contact a professional. These signs can indicate a deeper issue that requires trained diagnosis.

I cannot speak highly enough about my experience with Seasons Control. From the initial consultation to the final installation, the entire process was seamless and exceeded expectations. Tomar was truly exceptional. He took the time to carefully listen to all of my concerns and specific needs for both my daughter and me. His attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine care made all the difference. The installation crew, led by Pablo, delivered outstanding workmanship. Their communication was clear and timely throughout the entire project. I appreciated their integrity and commitment to doing the job right. They treated our home with care and respect, and the end result was high-quality work that we can trust. I highly recommend Seasons Control to anyone looking for a company that combines technical expertise with excellent customer service. Thank you, Tomar and Pablo, for making this such a positive and stress-free experience. Thank You!

Tomer was on time, and very quickly diagnosed our problem. We have an air conditioner that seemed to have a leak and he gave us all scenarios, and explained everything until we understood how it worked and what we could do in the event of anything else happening to it. I believe he saved us money thanks to his great communication. Now, we understand the unit that we currently have, and what all our options are. Tomer gave us a feeling of relief, because he's definetinely a pro at this. We will be using this company again after our experience with Season Control Hesting & Air Conditioner. Like Tomer said "Now YOU control the air, not the AIR controlling you!" Lol!! Thanks again Tomer!

I have recently replaced an almost 30-year-old HVAC with this servicer through multiple quotations. I am so glad to make the right call. Its quotation is very competitive and the technician(Eric) is well-experienced and knowledgeable in walking me through the whole process in detail. Upon installation is complete, they did thorough testing to check if everything went well; and called me a few days later to follow up with the performance of the unit. I could not be happier with this smooth transaction.
