Furnace Installation & Repair in Torrance

When furnace problems hit your Torrance home or business, you need a team that responds fast and gets the diagnosis right the first time. Season Control HVAC has been in business since 2001, with over 25 years of HVAC service across Greater Los Angeles. That proven track record means Torrance residents and local businesses can count on us for furnace repair, furnace replacement, and new furnace installation handled safely and efficiently. Whether your system has stopped heating, is making unusual sounds, or is cycling on and off without reaching the set temperature, our technicians arrive prepared to identify the problem and explain your options clearly.

Furnace installation and repair demand in Torrance and nearby South Bay communities stays high during winter months, and our scheduling reflects that urgency. We do not cut corners on gas furnace repair or electrical diagnostics, because safe service is the only kind worth delivering.

Torrance sits in the South Bay but is not a beachfront community. Many homes here were built across several decades, and that range of housing stock means furnace systems vary widely in age, fuel type, and configuration. Torrance residents and local businesses rely on their heating systems during cooler months, especially on winter nights when temperatures can dip lower than people expect for this part of LA County. Furnace installation and repair demand in Torrance and nearby South Bay communities like Carson, El Segundo, and Gardena keeps our crews active throughout the heating season. Older gas furnaces in the area may develop issues with blower motor capacitors, ignition components, or heat exchangers that require professional attention rather than guesswork. Our familiarity with the housing types and system configurations common to this part of the South Bay allows us to diagnose faster and recommend the right course of action for each situation.

  • Furnace repair and gas furnace diagnosis with same-day scheduling when available
  • Furnace replacement and new furnace installation sized correctly for your home or commercial space
  • Blower motor capacitor replacement, ignition system repair, and heat exchanger inspection
  • Annual furnace maintenance and tune-up service to catch problems before the heating season
  • Electric furnace repair for properties that do not use gas heating systems

Furnace Installation & Repair in Torrance - FAQ

Should I try to fix my furnace myself or call a professional?

You can safely check your thermostat settings, replace your air filter, and verify that your circuit breaker has not tripped. Beyond that, furnace work involves gas lines, electrical components, and combustion systems that require professional training and proper tools. Attempting repairs on a gas furnace without experience creates real safety risks. If your system is not heating properly after basic checks, call a licensed technician.

How do I know if my furnace needs repair or full replacement?

Frequent breakdowns, rising energy bills, uneven heating, and a system age beyond 15 to 20 years are common signals that replacement may make more sense than continued repairs. Our technicians will assess the condition of key components like the heat exchanger, blower motor, and ignition system before recommending a path forward.

How often should I schedule furnace maintenance?

Annual furnace maintenance is recommended, ideally before the heating season begins. A yearly tune-up includes cleaning, safety checks, and inspection of parts like the furnace capacitor and blower motor. Regular maintenance helps prevent unexpected breakdowns during cold weather.

Can I check the pilot light on my furnace myself?

On older furnaces with a standing pilot light, you can visually check whether the flame is lit by following the manufacturer instructions on the unit. However, if you smell gas or the pilot will not stay lit after relighting, shut off the gas supply and contact a professional immediately. Many newer furnaces use electronic ignition and do not have a traditional pilot light.

I cannot speak highly enough about my experience with Seasons Control. From the initial consultation to the final installation, the entire process was seamless and exceeded expectations. Tomar was truly exceptional. He took the time to carefully listen to all of my concerns and specific needs for both my daughter and me. His attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine care made all the difference. The installation crew, led by Pablo, delivered outstanding workmanship. Their communication was clear and timely throughout the entire project. I appreciated their integrity and commitment to doing the job right. They treated our home with care and respect, and the end result was high-quality work that we can trust. I highly recommend Seasons Control to anyone looking for a company that combines technical expertise with excellent customer service. Thank you, Tomar and Pablo, for making this such a positive and stress-free experience. Thank You!

Tomer was on time, and very quickly diagnosed our problem. We have an air conditioner that seemed to have a leak and he gave us all scenarios, and explained everything until we understood how it worked and what we could do in the event of anything else happening to it. I believe he saved us money thanks to his great communication. Now, we understand the unit that we currently have, and what all our options are. Tomer gave us a feeling of relief, because he's definetinely a pro at this. We will be using this company again after our experience with Season Control Hesting & Air Conditioner. Like Tomer said "Now YOU control the air, not the AIR controlling you!" Lol!! Thanks again Tomer!

I have recently replaced an almost 30-year-old HVAC with this servicer through multiple quotations. I am so glad to make the right call. Its quotation is very competitive and the technician(Eric) is well-experienced and knowledgeable in walking me through the whole process in detail. Upon installation is complete, they did thorough testing to check if everything went well; and called me a few days later to follow up with the performance of the unit. I could not be happier with this smooth transaction.
